Seeing More Clearly

There was a blind girl who was full of bitterness because she was blind, she found it hard to function in the world and regretted never being able to see or experience all the beauty this world had to offer. She resented everyone except her boyfriend, who seemed to understand her. He was always there for her and with him the darkness seemed to go. Despite asking her to marry him numerous times she refused saying, she would only marry him if she could see the world.

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Excited he asked her ‘now that you can see the world, will you marry me?’

The girl was shocked to see though, that her boyfriend was blind too and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears.

Later she received a letter in the mail from him saying only ……. “ please take care of my eyes darling”.

People sacrifice every day, sometimes you may know of it and sometimes you may not. Sometimes that sacrifice will go unthanked and sometimes not. The boyfriend gave his eyes, God gave it all….
What will you do with His sacrifice?

No eye has seen, no ear heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him. I Corinthians 2:9
