Yellow Day Fundraising

Senior School Yellow Day was a success.

Students were asked to donate a gold coin if they wore yellow to the College on Friday 16 March 2012.  A bake sale was held at morning tea and a sausage sizzle at lunch.  Some of the outfits the students arrived in were amazing.  $1,303.35 was raised.  One third of this money went to the Leukaemia Foundation and two thirds went to the Cancer Council (minus costs).

Students also participated during the day in leg waxing as a fundraiser to assist the Spaldings with associated costs and treatment for Luke (Year 10) undergoing Chemo for cancer. The students raised an additional $632.25 doing this and were able to forward this money to Luke.  It has been very much appreciated.

Well done to all students involved for the support given on the day.
